I have started a new web based business. For years I have been interested in importing products from development projects as a way to support economic development in other parts of the world. I have volunteered at Fair Trade stores and most recently been able to import products from two L'Arche Communities in Africa. I call my store, Isotes World Market - Isotes is a Greek word for economic equity. Here is a link Isotes World Market

Lothrop Holmes (1824-99) was one of the greatest Massachusetts decoy carvers. As the superintendent of the local cemetery, he had plenty of time to go duck hunting and make decoys. At one point he carved a beautifully painted Ruddy Turnstone - this is my version of his bird. It is carved out of pine and painted and aged to look like an old decoy that has been sitting around a boat house on Plymouth Bay. Priced at $175 plus $20 shipping.
